Daniele De Rossi says he has no intention of leaving boyhood club Roma in the January transfer window.
The Italian international has struggled to hold down a regular place with the Giallorossi this season due to his almost constant bickering with boss Zdenek Zeman.
This has prompted speculation that he could leave the Stadio Olimpico but the midfielder says he's never even considered that possibility.
"I was born in Rome. For me, it is the normal thing to play right here. I never tried, or really wanted, to play outside for another team," he said.
"For me, it is amazing, great. I first came to the training centre when I was 12-years-old. It's my home.
"I live for this club. My story is that I live for the club and, for me, leaving would be a drama, a big drama. I would like to stay here."
