Pato to be a January transfer target for PSG

With reports linking his client with a move to Paris St Germain, Alexandre Pato's agent admits a switch to France would bring plenty of benefits.

It has been suggested that the Brazilian forward is one of those on PSG's January shopping list, with the club's wealthy Qatari owners ready to flex their financial muscles.

It has been suggested the Parc des Princes board are planning sweeping changes, with former AC Milan and Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti set to inherit the managerial reins.

Should the Italian take to the hot-seat, it is expected that he will make a move for a number of players familiar to him - including Pato.

AC Milan have been quick to play down the rumours, with vice-president Adriano Galliani insisting the Samba star is going nowhere.

Pato's agent has refused to rule anything out, though, with the opportunity to move to the French capital and join a table-topping team a proposition that would appeal to any ambitious player.

"Milan and Galliani will make the decision," Gilmar Veloz told L'Equipe.

"We are professional so we will sit around the table and talk. If it is good for both Milan and for us, who knows?

"Ancelotti is a great champion, (sporting director) Leonardo is a top official, (David) Beckham would be more than just a team-mate and PSG is close to becoming a great club.

"All of that is attracting, but we won't be making the decision.

"It is true, (Leonardo and I) met in Paris a few days ago. He is a friend of mine, but we did not talk about Pato."
