Luis Suarez will have to sit out Liverpool’s match with Newcastle this Friday after the FA handed down a one match ban over his gesture to Fulham fans during the 1-0 loss on December 5th.
Suarez has already received an eight match ban after being found guilty of racially abusing Manchester United’s Patrice Evra.
The Uruguayan admitted to the charge of making an obscene gesture after requesting a personal hearing with the FA.
Suarez’s ban follows from Wayne Rooney’s last year when he swore at a TV camera and Birmingham City’s Stephen Carr who made a gesture towards Aston Villa fans.
