Pique: We'd love to have Song

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique says Arsenal's Alexandre Song would be welcome at the Catalan giants.



Barca have made the Cameroon midfielder a transfer priority, according to reports in the Spanish press, although no official bid has been made.

And Pique believes Song would fit in well at Barca under new coach Tito Vilanova.

"I have followed his career and he has become a very good player," the centre-back told El Mundo Deportivo.

"He is physically very strong and is good with the ball at his feet.



"We are open to his arrival," he added. "If he comes, and from what I have read he could do, we would love to have him."
