Birmingham manager Chris Hughton has confirmed that former Hull striker Caleb Folan is training with the club.
Folan, 29, is currently without a club since leaving Major League Soccer outfit Colorado Rapids earlier this month.
"He's available," confirmed Hughton in the Birmingham Mail. "He's not under contract anywhere.
"I can remember him a couple of seasons ago at Hull being a real handful. He's used to this division so we're going to have a good look at him."
The Republic of Ireland international had the distinction of scoring the winning goal for Hull in their first ever Premier League game, against Fulham in August 2008.
