Sweden international midfielder Kim Kallstrom will join Russia's nine-time champions from French side Lyon, Moscow club press service announced on Saturday.
Reports said that the clubs have reached the agreement about the transfer move of the 29-year-old central midfielder. Local media reports said that Spartak would pay the French club three million euros for Kallstrom.
Kallstrom will undergo a medical and sign a contract with Russia's most decorated club in the comnig days.
Kalstrom won two Sweden titles and the national cup with Djurgardens before joining French top-flight side Rennes in 2004.
In 2006 he join the French giants Lyon. With Lyon he won two French titles and two French cups.
He has won 95 caps and scored 16 goals with his country's national side.
