Spain squad for Olympics

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson will have to make do without David de Gea in his pre-season plans after his No 1 goalkeeper was drafted into Spain's preliminary Olympics squad.

Euro 2012 final goalscorers Juan Mata and Jordi Alba are also included in the European Champions plans ahead of the London Games.

Champions League winner Mata is joined by Chelsea colleague Oriol Romeu in the 21-man party to face Senegal and Mexico later this month.

Spain host Great Britain's Group A opponents Senegal in Gran Canaria on July 13 before playing Mexico in Cadiz on July 18.
